Web design that starts on the phone
UI UX design for companies whose customers arrive on a phone and need to see at once what you offer and how to reach you. Design is included in the price of every site, and you approve a sketch before I start building. I redesigned Relax Home, and it now scores 99 out of 100 for mobile performance.

What UI UX design with me includes
A sketch before the build
I draw it from your idea and brief. If you have no idea yet, I propose how the site should look, and work starts only once you approve the sketch.
Changes until you are happy
There is no limit on design revisions. The sketch changes until it matches what you had in mind.
Phone first
I lay out every page for a 360 px screen, then widen it for desktop. At Relax Home, 81% of search clicks came from phones.
Contact within thumb's reach
On Galia Apartmani, call and WhatsApp sit above the form, and on a phone Relax Home has a bottom bar with Call, WhatsApp, Viber and Enquiry buttons.
The most common action first
In the e-delivery notes portal, a new delivery note is the first button on the dashboard, because that is what users do most.
Colors from your logo
If you have a logo, the whole site follows its colors unless you want otherwise. If you do not, I design one.
Readability and contrast
Text and buttons have a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1, as accessibility guidelines require. This site scores 100 on the Lighthouse accessibility check.
Design that does not slow things down
No heavy sliders or effects that take seconds to load. This site's whole home page, fonts included, weighs 98 KB.
Who this is for, and who it is not for
A good fit if
- your site looks dated or is hard to use on a phone.
- you have no logo or colors yet and need your whole look online.
- customers call or message you from their phones, so the contact button always has to be at hand.
Not a fit if
- you only need design and someone else will build it. I do not offer design separately, only as part of website development.
- you want 3D effects and animations on every mouse move. I design sites that load fast even on a weak signal.
- you want to approve the look only when the site is finished. You approve the sketch at the start, so the whole site is not rebuilt later.
How I work
- 01
Content
I start from what you sell and what customers look for. For an existing site I also check Search Console: which pages and searches bring visits.
- 02
Sketch
I build a prototype from your idea, or propose my own if you do not have one.
- 03
Approval
We change the sketch until you are happy. The build starts only after your approval.
- 04
Build for the phone
Every page is built for a 360 px screen first, then for tablet and desktop.
- 05
Test on a phone
During the build you check the site on your own phone, and feedback goes in right away because we talk every day.
- 06
Launch
The site goes on the hosting, and the first year of maintenance, with text, price and image changes, is free.
A redesign: what changes and what stays
A redesign is more than new colors. At Relax Home it started from what people type into Google: the search that brings the most clicks is “montazne kuce crna gora” (prefabricated houses Montenegro), with 1,133 clicks in a year. So the new headline is what buyers look for, and the menu is split by type of building.
| April 2026 (PHP) | September 2026 (Next.js) | |
|---|---|---|
| Main headline | “Homes of real wood. Built for generations to come.” | “Prefabricated houses and log cabins made to measure” |
| Menu | Home, About, Services, Prefab houses, Gallery, Blog, Contact | Prefab houses, Log cabins, A-frame, Projects, Prices, Advice |
| Contact | a “Request a quote” button in the header | a call button in the header, plus a bottom bar on phones: Call, WhatsApp, Viber, Enquiry |
| Choice on the home page | “Request a free quote” and “See services” buttons | a choice of building: prefab house, log cabin, A-frame, cottage, for rent |
What works stays: the copy customers read, photos of finished buildings and the pages that already bring visits. Every button has its place and a purpose, so a visitor can get in touch as easily as possible.
A real example: the Relax Home redesign
Relax Home, based in Rožaje, Montenegro, builds prefabricated houses and log cabins for buyers in Montenegro and the region. I changed the site in stages. In 2025 I reworked the copy for Google; before that the site had fewer than 100 visits a month. In April 2026 I built a new site in PHP, and search clicks then grew from about 200 to more than 1,000 a month. That version had a pleasant headline that did not say what the company sells, and a menu of generic items.
In September 2026, with good results already in, I did another redesign: I replaced the headline with what people search for, organized the menu by type of building, and on phones the site has a bottom bar for call, WhatsApp, Viber and enquiry, because 81% of search clicks come from phones. The site moved to Next.js at the same time. In a Google Lighthouse test on October 4, 2026, the new site scored 99 out of 100 for mobile performance and 100 for accessibility, and its home page loads no JavaScript.

Tools and why
I build sites in Next.js and React or in PHP, with styles written so the layout comes together on a phone first. Colors, fonts and spacing are defined once, as rules for the whole site, so every page looks consistent and is easy to change. On this site, the contrast of every text color was checked against the accessibility formula (WCAG) before the color was used.
This site is the example: the logo and the line running through the pages are calculated from the model geomorphology uses to describe river meanders, based on the Uvac canyon, and everything is SVG and CSS, with no header images and no JavaScript.
UI UX design pricing and timelines
Design is not charged separately: it is part of the price of a website (from 100 EUR), an online store (350 to 400 EUR) or a web application (from 300 EUR), including the sketch and every round of changes. If you have no logo, I design one, and it is listed in the quote.
A presentation site including design is ready 3 to 7 days after the sketch is approved, larger sites in 7 to 20 days.
UI UX design questions
How much does the design cost?
Nothing extra. It is part of the price of the site, store or application, including the sketch and changes.
Can I see the look before the build?
Yes. I make a sketch from your idea or my own proposal, and the build starts only once you approve it.
How many design revisions do I get?
As many as you need to be happy. That is why the sketch comes first: changing a sketch is quick, changing a finished site is slow.
Do you design logos?
Yes, if you do not have one. If you do, the whole site follows its colors unless you want otherwise.
Can you redesign an existing site?
Yes. I do a redesign as a new site with a new look and structure, as with Relax Home. Send me the address of your current site.
Send your current site or an idea
Send the address of the site you have, or a few sentences on how you picture the new one. Messages sent before 5 pm CET get a same day reply with a first suggestion and my questions.
