What a website costs and what drives the price

Website development cost with me starts at 100 EUR for a presentation site, and an online store costs 350 to 400 EUR. Below is every service with its price range, timeline, what is and is not included, and a project that is already running. Design, basic SEO and the first year of maintenance are part of every site. All prices are in euros.

Presentation website: development cost from 100 EUR

Timeline: 3 to 7 days

For a business that needs a site presenting its services and bringing in calls, like Galia Apartmani in Bar or FIDAI Coaching in Montenegro. The price does not depend on the number of pages, only on whether the site needs to do more than display content.

Included

  • as many pages as you need
  • design with a sketch and revisions until you are happy
  • a mobile version, titles and descriptions for Google
  • contact: call, WhatsApp, email, form
  • the first year of maintenance

Not included

  • an admin panel for editing it yourself (extra)
  • domain and hosting

Business website with a blog

from 150 EUR

Timeline: 3 to 20 days, depending on scope

For a business whose customers research for a long time before buying, so blog articles bring visitors months before they enquire. At Relax Home, blog topics are picked from what buyers of prefabricated houses search for.

Included

  • everything in a presentation site
  • a blog with articles on what customers search for
  • topics chosen from Search Console data

Not included

  • an admin panel for writing posts yourself (extra)
  • domain and hosting

Example: Relax Home: the blog follows search data, and Google clicks grew from 200 to 1,193 a month in 10 months.

Online store

350 to 400 EUR

Timeline: around 20 days, longer with heavy automation

For selling on the site, with a cart and card payments. The biggest price difference is where products come from: manual entry, a supplier or your own software, and whether you also sell through other channels.

Included

  • an admin panel for products, categories and orders
  • card payments (so far OTP Bank and Halkbank)
  • an email to the customer on every order status change
  • design and a mobile version

Not included

  • supplier imports and marketplace connections (quoted separately)
  • a connection to your own software (on request)
  • domain and hosting

Web application or portal

Timeline: 7 to 20 days, if not very complex

For work several people run that has outgrown spreadsheets: records, partner portals, configurators and quotes, as at Royal Plast. The price comes from the specification, screen by screen.

  • database, roles and access levels
  • reports and exports (PDF, XML, CSV), as specified
  • a step by step build with your review

Not included

  • extensions beyond the specification
  • domain and hosting

SEF or e-delivery note integration

quoted, from around 300 EUR

Timeline: 20 days or more

For companies whose software creates invoices or delivery notes while sending them to the government systems is done by hand or with a card reader. Without your own software, the e-delivery notes portal works right after registration.

Included

  • an API your software calls, or a direct connection
  • sending, receiving and status tracking
  • testing on the Ministry of Finance demo environment
  • keeping up with changes in the law

Not included

  • the e-delivery notes portal subscription after the 3 free months

Example: BKC Soft service: more than 10,000 invoices and 5,000 delivery notes. The e-delivery notes portal is free for 3 months.

Website maintenance

first year free, then 10 EUR a month

Timeline: same working day reply for messages sent before 5 pm CET

For anyone who would rather not think about updates, backups and domain deadlines. The first year is free with every site, and after that maintenance is a choice, not an obligation.

  • text, price and image changes
  • updates, patches, backups and monitoring
  • Search Console monitoring
  • a reminder 45 days before the domain and hosting expire

Not included

  • new pages, new features and redesigns
  • domain and hosting

Example: BKC Soft has been in maintenance since 2022; Hotel Lane, Bralić & Dekić and the Turkish court interpreter site for close to two years.

What raises website development cost

The price of a presentation site does not grow with the number of pages. It grows when the site has to do more than display content:

  • an admin panel, if you want to edit content yourself (FIDAI Coaching has 18 section types the owner arranges alone);
  • data imports, from suppliers or your own software (EcoLED pulls stock every hour);
  • connections to other systems: a bank for cards, a courier, SEF, e-delivery notes;
  • the number of screens and reports in an application, and how many kinds of users it has.

A second language is part of the agreement and does not raise the price much: Sigma Premium Realty runs in Serbian, English and Turkish. You get the exact figure after your first message, before any work starts.

You pay for the domain and hosting before they expire, and I remind you 45 days ahead. If you drop maintenance, the site stays yours and keeps running; you then pay for hosting and the domain yourself. There is no monthly platform subscription and no fee per order.

Why a 100 EUR presentation site is not a template

A template is a ready made design that text is dropped into, the same as on every other site using it. My presentation site is custom: the design starts from a sketch you approve, it has as many pages as you need, and the code has no third party plugins to keep updated. This site, built the same way, scores 100 out of 100 for speed and ships 0 KB of JavaScript.

The price is low because I work alone, with no middlemen: the same person talks to you, draws the sketch, writes the code and maintains the site. You pay for work on your site, not for messages passed between several people. How work runs from enquiry to handover is on the process page, and examples are on the projects page. Pricing questions

How much does a company website cost?

A presentation site starts at 100 EUR and a business site with a blog at 150 EUR. Design, basic SEO and the first year of maintenance are included; domain and hosting are paid separately.

Are there hidden costs?

No. Every year you pay for the domain and hosting (hosting around 30 EUR at most), and after the first year maintenance if you want it. Everything is in the quote before work starts.

When do I pay, and can I pay in installments?

Only the domain and hosting are paid up front. You pay the rest after launch, as agreed, and installments are possible.

Is VAT included?

If you need a formal invoice, I issue it through a registered company and VAT is added to the price where it applies. Without an invoice, the price is as quoted.
