You do. The site, domain and hosting are yours, and you pay for them. On request you get access to the hosting, the domain and the source code. If you ever stop maintenance, everything stays in your hands, along with access to Search Console. Details are on the process page, in the ownership section.

For a site that has to be fast and maintained for years, a custom site has no plugins to keep updating. The home page of this site ships 0 KB of JavaScript, and Relax Home scores 99 for mobile performance in Lighthouse. I use WordPress only when a client asks for it explicitly. Serbia's state e-invoicing system, run by the Ministry of Finance. VAT payers issue and receive e-invoices through it, and between private companies it has been mandatory since January 1, 2023. Invoices are kept for 10 years in SEF or with an information intermediary. How software connects to SEF is on the SEF integration page.

From January 1, 2026 for the public sector, for notes private companies send to the public sector, and for excise goods. From October 1, 2027, private companies receive e-delivery notes for every movement of goods and send them to each other. Dates and sources are on the e-delivery notes page.

There is the eOtpremnice portal, for companies without their own software. Notes can be sent from a phone, with no card reader, and items are imported by scanning the QR code on a fiscal receipt. The first 3 months are free, then a monthly subscription applies. More in the eOtpremnice case study.

Yes, if it is connected to the point of sale software. At EcoLED, the efakture.exe service sends the fiscal receipt to the store's site, and as soon as it arrives, the customer gets an email with the receipt as a PDF. How it was done is in the EcoLED case study.
