Terms of use
Rules for using kavon.dev and the general terms of working together: how a quote comes about, how payment works, what is yours after handover and what I am responsible for. Once we agree on a project, what we wrote down for it applies, and these terms cover whatever was not agreed separately.

Who runs the site
kavon.dev is run by Kamber Kamberović, an individual based in Sjenica (36310 Sjenica, Serbia), under the name Kavon. Kavon is not a registered company. Contact: office@kavon.dev, phone +381 63 156 1160. I hold in person meetings in Sjenica, Novi Pazar and Tutin, and in other towns by arrangement.
Using the site
The content of the site is for information. Prices on the site are indicative and show where a type of work starts; the exact price for your project is agreed after your description and the specification. Guides and texts about regulations (SEF, e-delivery notes, data protection) are written carefully, with sources and the date checked, but they are not legal or tax advice. Check what applies to your company with an accountant or a lawyer.
The site links to other sites, such as client sites, state portals and the WhatsApp and Viber services. Their owners are responsible for their content and operation.
Intellectual property
The text, design, illustrations and code of kavon.dev belong to Kavon. You may quote them with a link to the source, but not copy them in full for your own site.
Screenshots and descriptions in the case studies are published with the clients' permission. Client names and marks belong to the clients. Details that would reveal their customers, business figures the client did not approve, and personal data are blurred or left out.
General terms of engagement
Quote and agreement
- I reply to your description with an indicative price and timeline, or with the questions I need for an estimate.
- In 1 to 2 days I prepare a specification and a sketch: what will be built, screen by screen. Work starts only after you approve them.
- We agree by email, message or in person. For companies that ask, I sign a contract, and on request also a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and a data processing agreement (DPA).
What the price includes
Unless agreed otherwise, the price of a site includes:
- a custom design, with changes until you are happy;
- as many pages as you need, since the number of pages is not limited;
- basic SEO: titles, descriptions, speed, a sitemap and company details for Google;
- testing on several phones and browsers, Android and iOS;
- going live on hosting and the first year of maintenance.
Priced separately: an admin panel for editing content yourself, a second and third language (small surcharge), and links to other systems such as card payments, suppliers, SEF and e-delivery notes.
Payment
- Only the domain and hosting are paid up front.
- The rest is paid after the project goes live on hosting, and in installments by agreement.
- From abroad, payment is by PayPal, Western Union or bank transfer (SWIFT).
- Companies that need an invoice are invoiced through a registered company.
Timelines
A presentation site takes 3 to 7 days, more complex projects 7 to 20 days or more. The timeline starts when the sketch is approved and also depends on how quickly copy, photos and data arrive. During the build we are in touch every day, and testing runs alongside the build, on several phones and browsers.
Material you provide
You provide the copy, photos, logo, prices and data for the site, and you are responsible for having the right to use them. If you have no photos, by arrangement I come and photograph the premises; in Sjenica the visit is free, and for other towns the fuel cost is agreed in advance. I design a logo if you have none; if you have one, the site follows its colors unless you ask otherwise.
Communication
Messages and emails sent on working days before 5 pm CET get a same day reply; weekend replies are not guaranteed. Calls are on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00. Video calls are arranged on request. What is agreed by message or email counts as agreed, so it is good to have important decisions in writing.
Changes during the work
The design changes until you are happy with it. If you ask for something completely outside the agreed scope during the work, we assess it together first; a small surcharge is then agreed, and the timeline usually stays the same.
Testing and handover
Testing runs alongside the build: every change is checked before the next step, on several phones and browsers. Testing, launch on hosting and handover are all part of the agreed timeline. Any changes after handover fall under maintenance, and the first year of maintenance is free.
Cancellation
If you cancel during the build, you pay nothing except the domain and hosting, which were paid up front and remain yours.
Ownership
- The site, domain and hosting are yours.
- You become the owner of the code once you have paid the full agreed amount.
- On request you get access to the hosting, the domain and the source code.
- If you stop maintenance, everything stays yours, including access to Search Console and analytics, if set up.
Warranty and maintenance
The first year of maintenance is free and covers fixing errors after handover, text, price and image changes, updates and security patches, backups, uptime monitoring and SEO tracking. After the first year, maintenance is 10 EUR a month, or 100 EUR for a full year.
Maintenance does not include new pages, new features or redesigns; those are agreed separately. Hosting and the domain are paid separately, and I let you know 45 days before they expire.
Hosting and domain
The site runs on hosting I rent from unlimited.rs, with servers in Serbia, and share with clients; hosting is up to 30 EUR a year. The domain is paid at the registrar's price. Both are paid up front, for a year. I let you know 45 days before they expire; if the domain or hosting is not renewed in time, the site and email on that domain stop working until they are renewed.
Suggestions during maintenance
If during maintenance I see searches in Search Console where a new page or a change of copy would earn a better position, I suggest it and explain why. Nothing changes without your approval.
Liability
I am responsible for the work I did, within the agreed scope. I am not responsible for:
- outages, failures or changes at the hosting company or domain registrar;
- the operation of and changes to third party services the project is connected to, such as banks and payment systems, SEF, the e-delivery note system, suppliers and other software;
- content the client enters or edits, including text, images, prices and legal pages;
- the consequences of changes made to the code or server by someone else.
In any case, my liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.
Showing the project
After handover I may show the project on the projects page as a case study, but only with your permission and only with details you approve. If you do not want the project mentioned, it is not mentioned.
Confidentiality
Information about your business I see during the work, such as access details, price lists, customers and figures, is used only for your project. You can change or revoke the access you gave me as soon as our work ends. I publish a case study only with your permission, and without details you have not approved.
Governing law
The use of this site and our work together are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. We resolve disagreements by talking first; if that does not work, the court determined by law has jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
When the terms change, this page changes too, and the date of the last update is under the heading. A project already agreed stays under the terms that applied when it was agreed, unless we agree otherwise. Send questions about these terms to office@kavon.dev.
